Junglefish in Ubud – Must visit !
Everytime we head to Bali, which is normally once a year - we tend to spend majority of the time sitting around the pool, occasionally heading into the chaos of Kuta and not a whole lot else. Which is fine and very relaxing- but this time I wanted to see more of the " real bali".
I organised a driver to take us 5 and my parents to Ubud for the day, stopping at a few places along the way. I had looked up a few restaurants before we went to Bali to try find something with a pool for the kids aswell as great views of the jungle. Luckily I hit the jackpot !
I found a place called Junglefish in Ubud which is a restaurant with an amazing infinity pool overlooking some beautiful jungle. You have to eat at the restaurant to be allowed to have a swim - and the food is to die for ! Great prices and absolutely delicious! I had a red thai curry chicken and some spring rolls, aswell as a delicious coconut latte. Meals were average price, I think the curry was around $15AUD. The restaurant has such a great feel to it and my boys loved the fish that surrounded the toilets !
After our amazing lunch we headed down to the pool area, which has lots of lounges, hanging chairs and tables - the staff were incredible and found us a spot and brought over 7 towels for us all. The pool is great for the kids with a shallow section which my toddler loved, and the older kids loved laying on these pool "lounges". The whole place has such a great atmosphere, we could have stayed there all day it is such a beautiful spot.
I recommend you pop this beautiful place on your list of places to see when you head to Ubud, you won't be dissapointed !
